Funeral Video Questions
Frequently asked questions
We’ve included answers to some of the questions we’re most often asked. If there’s anything you’d like to discuss further, we’re always happy to help.
How do we book your services?
We will send you our booking form and terms to complete along with the payment details which will be due at the time of booking to secure the date. A receipt will be sent for your records.
How do we receive the final video?
You will receive an online link to view the film and there will be the option to download the video directly as an mp4 file. We highly recommend that you make lots of copies
How far will you travel?
Travel up to 60 miles is included, however, I will travel wherever necessary if we have availability.
When you do you start and finish filming?
Filming typically begins around 45 minutes before the service. This allows time for setup, coordination with the officiant, and to capture arrivals and key moments as the service begins.
Coverage is centred on the service itself, and continues through to its conclusion. Depending on your requirements, filming can finish at this point or continue to include additional elements such as the burial, a second service at another location, or the wake.
If you would like earlier coverage, such as filming from the family home or the cortege setting off, this can be discussed. In these cases, a second camera operator may be recommended to ensure everything is captured smoothly.
Are you able to travel to different venues?
Do we need to ask the church or religious venue for permission to film?
How do you record the audio?
Can we put the video online?
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
